At Therapeutic Arts, we provide tailored massage techniques, from Swedish to Neural Reset Therapy (NRT), designed for relaxation, pain relief, and enhanced mobility.
Andy uses over ten years of training and experience to customize each client’s massage treatment. Most sessions are a blend of Neural Reset Therapy (NRT), Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT), and other Orthopedic/Clinical therapies, combined with relaxation techniques. This approach is to achieve pain reduction, functional mobility, and to calm the nervous system. Calming the nervous system is important to put the body into a Parasympathetic state (Rest/Digest/Recovery).
Myofascial or Deep Tissue massage consists of strokes to lengthen, spread, and separate adhered or “stuck” fascia (connective tissue) and muscles.
Swedish Massage consists of smooth/flowing, Kneading, warming, and percussive strokes.
Neural Reset Therapy® is a highly effective new approach to getting rid of muscular pain and tightness. Clients love it when their tight muscles reset and pain vanishes in seconds without need for grinding through their tender areas. They get pain relief in seconds without adding to their pain during each session.
Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT) relies heavily on strategic deep tissue and muscle activation techniques for posture correction and pain relief. MAT training teaches massage therapists how the musculoskeletal and nervous systems work together, what problems lead to pain, and how to restore optimal balance and performance using guided assisted stretches and hands-on techniques.
All of these massage styles are complimented with joint mobilization, movement, and stretches, to improve the results of each session.
Each session is a full-length session.
I have been going to see Andy for a deep tissue/medical massage for years. Not only do regular visits help me stay active and feel good, he is also extremely helpful in acute situations, when I overdo things and get hurt. He is knowledgeable, extremely well versed in a wide range of massage techniques, kind, friendly and easy to communicate with. I have recommended Andy to family and friends and they have all become regular clients. I highly recommend him as a massage therapist.
Client
Its been a couple years since I've had the time to get to a massage therapist, but Andy has helped me out with serious neck and shoulder pain on many occasions in the past! I have also referred many of my own clients over to see Andy and the results have been great! Very professional and attentive to what the client needs!
Client
I have gotten massage for years with various therapists. I think Andy is the best I have ever had. He is kind and professional. He takes time to diagnose issues/areas of stress/pain and offers helpful suggestions re: stretches/therapies you can do at home. He is also physically strong, so can get deep into the muscle, if that is your preference. As a guy who works out, I like a deep massage and have have had more than a few therapists who simply could not apply sufficient pressure.

Andy is awesome! I have worked with him for several years. He is very knowledgeable about the anatomy of the body and how various sports and other repetitive activities (such as playing a musical instrument or computer work, or stress) can impact the body......Through traditional massage and other bodywork techniques such as NRT, Andy has helped me recover. It is apparent to me that Andy truly cares about helping his clients. I highly recommend him!
Client
I have been receiving massages from Andy for many, many years and cannot say enough good things about him. He is sensitive and attentive to any special needs/requests; is skilled in a wide range of massage techniques; maintains a very clean, safe, private space; provides a calm soothing therapeutic environment, and is one of the main reasons I feel as healthy as I do even during this pandemic. Highly recommend.
